@Chinky--Minutes after this post went up on the blog, there was considerable frenzy amongst my girlfriends. A kidnapping of sorts was staged,credit drained and tons of cosmetics were bought. Some lipsticks, eyeliners and such like.
Of course I have tried the full make-up thing, which is why the hesitation to try it again..

Actually, I think most Indian women would look a lot better with bronzer than the usual face compact they go with. It looks much better, shinier and in keeping with our skin tone. It's just meant to be dusted on your face lightly to give a sun-kissed look. Much better than the white, pale, icky looking powdery mask that passes for make-up. I love the Rimmel line of bronzers.

And also, don't hate on something you haven't tried. It doesn't make you look cool.

Came to your blog after ages. SO totally agree about makeup. I get along with kajal fine. I've lost my lip gloss. It's okay to want to look good, and woohoo to those who have the patience to do things to their face, but I've made my peace with mine. :D (I'm saying this in a completely non-bitchy way, really.)
