Social Samosa : A date with @FundACause

“The belief or the hope is that once we learn about someone’s financial need to better his or her life, and are motivated to shake off the lack of empathy or trust, or a feeling of helplessness that might be preventing us from helping, we will contribute.”
I loved documenting Chandni Parekh's philosophy in this article. It was an engaging chat with someone who I had heard about and followed on Twitter. I am amazed at this woman's passion for connecting people with their causes. I also loved this bit where she talks about 'time' being a form of charity. So many times we may have the knowledge and the know how, but no time to contribute to our favourite causes. The Internet makes it easy to donate, but does it really bring us closer to our cause?
