Corny and Intellectual
The corny and cheesy stories bring us together. It is intellectual content that alienates us. Our favourite tales are tales of stupidity, cuteness and embarrassment. Intellectual or factual content has an inherent quality to create classes.
Perhaps this is the best reason to present intellectual material through the medium of more down-to-earth stories. All the good teachers do it. To make the abstract relatable to mortals is the ultimate aim of communication in some ways. We are ever striving for the best of both worlds.

Also, I am amazed by the corporate world's ability to take something simple and complicate it.
